Pikemann is looking for a Tax Manager to lead tax compliance and planning across Canadian subsidiaries. This hybrid role blends remote flexibility with in-office collaboration at our Seattle HQ or Vancouver office.

About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Tax Manager, you’ll manage Canadian tax provisions, respond to CRA inquiries, oversee external service providers, and support strategic tax planning. You’ll collaborate with U.S. and global tax teams, legal, accounting, and business leadership to ensure compliance and drive optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Canadian federal and provincial tax return preparation and filing
• Prepare and review income tax provisions and financial disclosures
• Manage CRA audits and tax controversy strategies
• Support M&A due diligence and tax planning initiatives
• Research complex tax issues and draft supporting documentation
• Advise stakeholders on tax implications of strategic decisions
• Contribute to staff development and cross-functional collaboration

What We’re Looking For

• CPA or Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant designation
• 7+ years in income tax compliance and financial reporting
• Deep knowledge of Canadian tax laws and cross-border tax issues
• Experience with ASC 740, U.S. GAAP, and SEC standards preferred
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with Alteryx, Power BI, OneSource a plus
• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
