Job Description

Brief Description of Job Duties: Will develop mobile software for class III active medical implants. Work will involve all phases of product development from concept through qualification and field testing. Should stay abreast of the latest mobile development technologies and recommend development platforms, APIs, and tools. Work closely with firmware engineers to define and document software architecture, design, and software / firmware interfaces. Work with clinical team to create user guides. Review the work of colleagues and provide constructive feedback. Solicit the regular review of others on all work products.

Education and Experience:

• BSCS or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years’ experience.
• Must have hands on experience with C# and at least one of following programming languages, i.e. swift, java.
• Must have experience in Mobile app development (Xamarin or other cross platform app development)
• Knowledge of .NET, .Net Maui, CSS, and Object-Oriented analysis is highly desired.
• Some knowledge of a unit test framework (e.g. NUnit), Android SDK, and iOS SDK is desired.
• Experience with configuration management and issue tracking is required.
• Experience with BLE communication, AWS Cognito, REST APIs, and med-device development is desired.
• Experience with troubleshooting software and systems is desired. Must meet deadlines, work in multidisciplinary project teams, and have good communication skills.
• Experience with medical device safety and internet security is a plus.
